ITU WORLD CHAMPS
|
MSA was instrumental in timing more than 6000 athletes over 4 days of intense competition at the ITU World Triathlon Championships on the Gold Coast last week.
MSA was engaged to provide timing services and live feed to both the internet and worldwide television for 13 separate races in the Elite and Age group competition. MSA provided real time data to the television graphics system operated by international company Swiss Timing.
The ITU praised the organisers for the outstanding success of the event and MSA's accurate instant live results service.

AVIVA SINGAPORE CONTRACTS MSA
|
The Aviva 70.3 Ironman Triathlon Singapore has contracted Multisport Australia for the provision of timing services to its 2008 event. The Half Ironman distance event has become the highlight of the SE ASian Triathlon Calendar with $USD50,000 prize money up for grabs in the elite field. MSA has a long history of excellence in timing Ironman and Half Ironman events in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa and the Singapore race organisers have called upon MSA to deliver its expertise. Since its inception the Aviva Singapore 70.3 event has shown massive growth and this year the field cut off stands at 1500.

SAMSUNG MELBOURNE MARATHON ENGAGES MSA
|
The Samsung Melbourne Marathon has engaged the services of MultisportAustralia for the provision of timing and results for the 2008 Samsung Melbourne Marathon, the Asics Half Marathon, the Coffee Club 10km and the Active Feet 5.5 km events to be staged on Sunday 12 October. The events, arguably the fastest growing running festival in Australia, aims to attract 20,000 participants.
In 2007, Melbourne Marathon set a new benchmark in running festivals and MSA were an integral part of the team. 2008 sees an expansion of the services MSA will provide to the event.

MSA drawn into AFL debate. What the....?

Lorne Pier to Pub and Mountain to Surf
|
Multisportaustralia has been contracted to time Australia's largest open water swim the Lorne Pier to Pub on 5 January 2008.
On race day some 4000 swimmers will take to the water in the fast and furious 1.2km swim and Multisportaustralia will be there to capture all the results.
The day before this popular and iconic Victorian swim event the Lorne Mountain to Surf 8km run will be staged .
Attracting over 2500 athletes, the hilly and challenging course is a perfect warm up for the Pier to Pub open water swim.
